CAPACITY BUILDING
At OCCF, we believe that sustainable impact begins with empowered people. Our Capacity Building initiatives are designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and emotional resilience of caregivers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community advocates involved in the fight against childhood cancer.
Through targeted workshops, training sessions, and strategic partnerships, we:
- Provide healthcare workers with psychological support and resilience training to help them manage the emotional toll of caring for children with cancer.
- Train caregivers and parents in practical skills and psychosocial support techniques to improve at-home care.
- Empower volunteers and advocates to become effective voices for awareness in their communities.
By investing in people, we’re building a stronger, more informed network that can provide better care and champion change for children with cancer.
